Pipeline

After a pipeline is built, there must be a lot of preparation work done before it is ready for use. Based on specifications and project requirements, Flowtech offers a thorough engineering approach.

Flushing, Pigging (Cleaning, Gauging, Filling), Hydro/Leak Testing, Dewatering, Swabbing, and Preservation are just a few examples.

Pipeline Flooding

Pipeline Flooding is one of the most important phases of Pipeline Pre-commissioning. It can be carried out by propelling pigs through the pipeline with water or or free flooding with water (normally for smaller or unpiggable pipelines).

Hydrotesting

We work closely with our clients to ensure that their specifications are followed, in accordance with industry norms, and that pressure systems are safe, dependable, and leak-tight. Process piping and pressure vessels are installed in accordance with ASME standards.

Hydostatic testing helps maintain safety standards and durability of the vessel over time. Newly manufactured pipes are initially qualified using this test. They are then re-qualified at regular intervals using the prood pressur test which is also called the modified hydrostatic.

Flushing

We design and carry out the most effective execution plan available, thanks to our understanding of all the important parameters, local conditions, site-specific conditions, and regional factors.

Flowtech follows the ‘BSRIA guide for Pre-commissiong cleaning of Pipework Systems’ code AG 1/2001.1. The services available are as follows:
• Potable Water Pre-Cleaning - Initial static flush with plain water
• Chilled Water Piping Flushing - Dynamic flushing
• Hydro-testing
• Passivation & Preservation

Dewatering

The dewatering process involves decreasing the flow and pressure within the pipeline by releasing water toa designated discharge area. An industrial approach for drainage cleaning, employing high-pressure waterjets, proves highly effective in eliminating sludges and deposits that accumulate on the inner pipe surfaces.

We offer customized engineering solutions for  isolating, dewatering, and drying pipelines, catering to both small and large volume systems. This facilitates various tasks, including

  • tie-in connections

  • conducting pipeline inspections, and

  • performing necessary repairs to address damages

Subsequently, the emptied pipeline undergoes inspection and maintenance procedures.
